The Screen Print day was a positive experience.
This stencil method is so much faster than the UV one. Theres the negative aspect of the stencil falling apart after a few prints , or the lack of precision when compared to the UV, but the positive side, is that the design itself is much more “organic”, personal and unique.
And the entire process really related with what I’ve been doing the entire year. Cutting paper. Adding colour.
Very enjoyable, and it changed the way I see screen printing. Before I really couldn’t see the point in using the facilities, the hours of preparation to print a dozen images. It basically took a full working day to make it happen. This method is way more experimental, and I like it.
